A quick fix to make it this version work with SQL 2012.
Version 2 already has 2012 working, but am still developing the UI in version 2, so this is just an interim fix to allow
user to monitor SQL 2012.

Major update to the existing application to include the following:

Addition of context menu drill down options on each detailed page
Addition of Database related info and statistics - including fragmentation
Adding Tabbed main form to seperate out stats data, clean-up the main view, and allow the addition of other views - such as a high level dashboard
Adding a Windows Service in addition to the existing GUI so that users can install the service to run in the background and log performance data on an on-going basis.
Adding ability to log data to a SQL Server as well as CSV
Alteration to the options screen with back end code clean-up as well. Tabbed options grouped into relevent functions. More config options for the app and the service.
Adding analytics and reports (SSAS & SSRS based) for analysing logged perf data. Will probably include SSIS package to move logged data into a DW format.
Altering logging format
Addition of command line start-up options as per user request.
Further optimisations to the base code with a view to reducing the footprint further where possible
Removing legacy code which was there to handle the convertion to encrypted config files
Altering config files to a more standard format - probably XML based.
V2 will include binaries for x86 and x64 with specific optimisation accordingly.

Fixed a bug where logging PAL data to BLG file format would fail due to invalid syntax on the perfmon creation object. Note that logging to CSV works on all previous version, this is just a fix to BLG logging.

Modification to the initialisation of the Procedure Cahce Detailed view, so that it does not appear that the application has hung.

Right clicking on a ProcCache entry now enables you to save that particular Execution Plan to disk, which in turn can be opened in SSMS.

Fixed issue where remote registry calls would fail if using SQL Server Authentication and WIndows user did not have remote admin rights. Users can now specify remote windows credentials.

Fixed issue on some systems where AWE check would fail on SQL 2000. Added RECONFIGURE WITH OVERRIDE to address this issue.

Added a few extra logging lines.

Added ability to select the connection driver, out of Generic ODBC (default), 2005 Native CLient, or 2008 Native Client

Updated the connection string to allow for the above change.

Fixed possible bug where "invalid values" could be detected in the connection string.
